Well I woke up a little early this morning. Not sure why. When downstairs to take the dog out for a pee. While she was out I went into the kitchen to get a drink and what run past me? A damn mouse/rat of some kind. I kinda suspected there was one in the house but I wasn’t really sure. Good thing I picked up some traps the other day so I’ve laid those out and hopefully I’ll catch it soon. I really don’t want that thing all over the house and I hope there is only one. Funny thing is that my dog is a Terrier mix, which they were supposedly bred for rat catching. Looks like she hasn’t been doing her job.

When I started this blog I swore up and down that I was going to keep up with it. I haven’t exactly been doing that. I’ve been doing better than I thought and probably better than most people but I still feel like there needs to be more. Yeah my life isn’t that exciting and there really isn’t a lot of people reading at this point but hey it’s something to do. It will be interesting to look back on these posts in the future and see what was going on in my world. This can be the journal I always wanted to keep but was too lazy to do. Oh well we’ll see how this goes. I’ll probably get bored with it after a couple of days and then go back to not posting anything.

I went bowling with my friend Tracy today. It felt good to get out of the house for awhile. I’ve wasted so much time just sitting around the house. I’m not getting any younger so it’s time I get my butt in gear and do a little more with my free time.

Oh and I totally suck at bowling.

I’m at home just sitting here on my butt.   I really need to find something productive to do.  Thinking about going to the rib cookoff but not sure.
