Sin City – Review

Saturday, September 03rd, 2005 | Author: Reggie

I got to see Sin City today and I must say that I’m totally speechless. This has got to be one of the coolest movies I’ve ever seen. It got all of the elements of a true “guys” movie. Lots of action and violence and it’s filled with beautiful women. If you have not seen this movie yet then you are like I was totally nuts. I like movies and I’ve seen my share of them. Some good and some bad. The movie just kept me going from start to finish. The stories in the movie was great, the characters were interesting and everyone in it just seemed to fit perfectly in the roles they played. It was chocked full of stars and they all brought there “A” game to the party. I think I could ramble on and on about this movie. Please go see it right away and then watch it again and again and again. I know I am.

Office Space – Review

Wednesday, August 31st, 2005 | Author: Reggie

Last night I watched, for the fifty million time, Office Space. This movie is a must see for any one that works in a Tech Support or Customer Service or Call Center type environment. The movie stars Ron Livingston and Jennifer Aniston. Office Space is about Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) a man that really isn’t too fond of his job. In an attempt to help cope with his working life he goes to see an occupational hypno-therapist who ends up changing Peter’s outlook on life in quite an interesting way.

The really cool thing about this movie, I feel, is that most working class people can really relate to the experiences Peter and his friend go through. I know I’ve had the same headaches and thought the same thoughts Peter had as I go through my work day.

This movie definitely gets a 5 of 5 evil monkeys.

Major Payne – Review

Saturday, August 27th, 2005 | Author: Reggie

Major Payne stars Damon Wayans and Karen Parsons. Damon plays Major Payne, a combat killing machine for the US Marine Corps. After being released from the military, because there was no one left to kill, Major Payne finds himself in command of a group of kids enrolled in the J.R.O.T.C program. This is a really funny film, the laughs keep coming and when you think you know what the Major is going to do next he does the unexpected. Damon Wayans delivers a fine performance as the crazed Major. He’s ruff and tough and totally psycho. If you’ve ever been in the military or in a R.O.T.C. program you’ll definitely like this movie cause it will remind you of some of the experiences and people you’ve had to deal with in those situations and if you’ve never been in the military you still in enjoy the movie as well.

I give this movie 5 out of 5 evil monkeys.

Bound By Lies – Review

Saturday, August 27th, 2005 | Author: Reggie

Ok, folks. Here is my first movie review. Now I’m no professional movie critic but like a lot of folks out there I like to watch movies. I am signed up with this deal the Blockbuster has where they send you movies in the mail. You watch them and mail them back. The service is just like Netflix if you are familiar with that. As I watch the different movies I get, I will go ahead an post what I think of them. I’ll keep things spoiler free so I don’t ruin the movie for any one that may actually see something based on my review.

The title of the movie is Bound By Lies. It stars Stephen Baldwin & Kristy Swanson. In the movie, Stephen’s character (Max) is a cop who is investigating a murder that involves Kristy’s character (Laura). Laura is a photographer/artist that uses bondage as the subject for her works.

This movie is pretty much a bore that is only worsened by the bad acting and dialog and predictable story, not too mention the fact that there is a “sex” scene with no nudity (what’s up with that?! Thanks Kristy.). If you see this movie at the video store, be sure to avoid it like the plague.

I give this movie the finger.
